This policy explains how the Gonaug Courier website uses cookies and similar technologies. Read it with the Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site, or a service in front of a site, can store in your browser. They can remember a technical fact, such as a security check, or a preference. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can hold a larger note than a cookie, still on your device, and still under your control in the browser settings.

This site does not require an account. It does not use cookies to keep a shopping cart, because there is no store. It does not use cookies to record consent for advertising, because there are no ads.

What this site uses

The pages are HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a PHP form handler. Quote and contact forms POST to the server so a request can be emailed. Those forms do not write a cookie, and they do not keep the entry in local storage or session storage.

Analytics cookies

The page source does not include a third-party analytics script. Until that changes and this page is updated, analytics cookies from this site are not in use. Server logs, described in the privacy policy, are not the same thing as a browser analytics cookie.

Preference cookies

The site does not set a preference cookie for a banner, a language, or a theme. The menu opens from the page itself. It does not need a cookie to remember that choice.

Other technologies

We do not embed advertising networks, social plugins, or video players that set their own cookies. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. That is a request to Google for font files, governed by Google’s practices. It is not a Gonaug analytics program. If you block that request, the text still appears in a fallback typeface. If a host or a security service in front of the site sets a cookie to deliver pages or to filter abusive traffic, that cookie would be a necessary security cookie, not an advertising cookie. None is added by the pages themselves.

Your choices

You can read every page with cookies limited in your browser. Because we are not running an advertising or analytics cookie program, there is no separate opt-in banner on this site. Your controls are the settings in your browser.

Browser controls

Browsers let you block cookies, delete cookies you already have, or set exceptions for particular sites. Private browsing usually discards cookies when you close the window. Blocking cookies does not remove a message you have sent by some other channel. Blocking storage does not stop you from reading the service pages. The steps differ by browser. Use the help pages for the browser you actually use, under privacy or site settings.

Do Not Track

The site does not track visitors across other websites. A browser tracking-preference signal does not change the current behaviour of these pages.

Children

We do not aim cookies or storage at children. The site is for adults arranging a shipment.

Changes

We will update this policy if cookie use changes, especially if analytics or a new host cookie is introduced. The effective date at the top will change with the text.
